The Birth Bear is all about eternal love. The strong connection with a child from the moment it is born. The magical moments of birth, but also protecting and keeping the child safe, until adulthood and beyond.

By immortalizing the birth in the form of a Birth Bear, parents keep a connection with the birth of their child, but there is also a way for them to cherish, feel and relive the first moments forever.

We are convinced that parenthood is a process. A process of changing, seeing the world in a different way and continuously adapting, this is sometimes more difficult than other times.

Parenting is based on love, intuition and a deeper connection with ourselves and our children. Continuously developing and moving with the flow. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' as long as the approach is based on love and intuition.

The Birth Bear team

The Birth Bear was conceived in Amsterdam. Together, the founders of the Birth Bear searched a long time for a special way to immortalize the birth of their three children. They never wanted to forget the moment they held their children for the first time, but how can you capture this moment so well? That's how they came up with the idea to make a unique teddy bear in life size and weight of the children. This is not only a special, but above all cuddly way to immortalize the births. They envision the cuddly toys to become generations of the future, so the Birth Bear should not only have the sweetest appearance, but also be of the very best.

The Birth Bear is located in a studio in Bilthoven and every Birth Bear is made with a lot of love and attention by a team of experienced seamstresses. Together we make a lifelong memory, completely according to the wishes of the parents.
